Enhance your natural glow—without changing your natural look!

Introducing one of JW’s newest injectables, SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is injected as tiny, intradermal microdroplets of hyaluronic acid within the dermis layer, so you won’t see any change in the shape or volume of your face—just healthier looking skin for a lasting glow.

FDA approved, clinically proven.

SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is a modified hyaluronic acid gel that’s injected as intradermal microdroplets below the surface of the skin, increasing hydration to improve cheek smoothness. SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® patients reported satisfaction with how glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy their skin looked compared to before treatment.

Juvederm Voluma XC

Cheek Enhancement from the Makers of Botox

  • Replenish facial fullness
  • Lift sagging skin to regain youthful contours
  • Restore age-related loss of volume and shape to the cheeks

Juvederm Voluma XC is a dermal filler containing hyaluronic acid, a substance produced by the body naturally that maintains skin’s elasticity, strength, and moisture levels. Produced by Allergan, the makers of Botox, Voluma works by restoring levels of hyaluronic acid. This helps to add tissue volume and structure to your cheeks, restoring youthful contour and shape to your face. A typical treatment takes about 30 minutes. Compared to other dermal fillers on the market, Juvederm Voluma offers results that last up to two years. In a clinical study, nearly 70 percent of people who received Voluma injections were still enjoying their results two years after their first treatment. Juvederm Voluma contains an anesthetic called lidocaine to reduce patient discomfort. Most people report only minor discomfort during treatment, and we also offer topical anesthesia to make sure you’re comfortable during the procedure.  There is virtually no downtime when you get a Voluma treatment, and you will be able to resume most activities immediately after the procedure, though we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and limiting your exposure to sunlight and extreme heat. Keep in mind that it is perfectly normal to experience some mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site. These effects are only temporary and should subside within two to four weeks.

Juvederm Volbella

The Latest Addition to the Juvederm Family of Fillers

  • Add fullness and plumpness to the lips
  • Produce results that last for up to a year
  • Provide gentle contouring for the correction of lip asymmetry
  • Soften the appearance of fine lines that often appear around the mouth as we age
  • Produce natural-looking results that are so subtle that no one needs to know that you had the procedure in the first place

Juvederm Volbella, a dermal filler from the Juvederm family of products by Allergan, a leader in the world of aesthetic injectables, is one of the latest injectable lip augmentation solutions to be approved by the FDA. Made available for use in the U.S. in October 2016, Volbella is transforming the way in which we enhance our lips. This specially formulated dermal filler is designed to add fullness to the lips, improve lip symmetry, and reduce the signs of aging around the mouth. Thanks to its smooth gel-like consistency, Volbella can also effectively contour the lips to transform their shape and overall appearance. Featuring a proprietary form of hyaluronic acid, a sugar that occurs naturally in the body, Juvederm Volbella also utilizes Allergan’s proprietary Vycross technology for enhanced longevity and more natural results. A versatile and effective injectable, this filler also contains a small amount of lidocaine to minimize the minor discomforts sometimes associated with treatment.

The typical treatment takes around 30 minutes. This is a safe, effective outpatient procedure, so you shouldn’t have to miss a beat when it comes to work and other responsibilities. Since Volbella contains small amounts of lidocaine, a local anesthetic, and the needle is very fine, discomfort is minimal. Most patient report only feeling a small pinch during treatment.  There is no real downtime with Volbella. Aftercare is also quite simple. Side effects, which are minimal, are generally gone within a few days. They generally involve mild irritation and swelling at the treatment site. These effects can be minimized further with arnica and by following our instructions before and after treatment. Most patients resume their normal activities immediately after treatment. However, we do recommend that patients avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, and exercise for a couple of days after treatment as these activities can have a negative impact on results. With Juvederm Volbella, results are almost immediate and last up to a full year. Your full results will be more noticeable after a few weeks when swelling has subsided.

Botox

Botox Cosmetic is the only approved treatment to temporarily improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet lines in adults.

Many wrinkles are actually creases that have been worn into the skin by making the same expression thousands of times. These “expression lines” often called frown lines or crow’s feet, are due to contraction of a muscle under the skin. Botox®, a purified protein, can dramatically smooth out and soften wrinkle lines. It has been safely used for over 10 years and is approved by the FDA. A few drops of Botox® are injected with a tiny micro-needle precisely into the muscle to weaken and relax the muscle. As a result, the skin overlying the muscle relaxes and the wrinkles disappear.

What areas can be treated?

The most common areas treated are frown lines between the eyebrows, crow’s feet and horizontal forehead lines. Fine wrinkles around the mouth can also be treated.

How long do Botox® treatments last?

Treatments generally last between 3 to 6 months. Each sequential treatment tends to last longer.

How does Botox® work?

When Botox® enters a muscle, some nerve impulses to contract the muscle are blocked. As the muscle weakens, the overlying skin relaxes and wrinkles disappear.

Botox® side effects?

When administered properly, Botox side effects are rare.  There are some side effects from the needle like bruising and swelling and these resolve quickly. Rarely, Botox® can cause weakness to adjacent muscles, resulting in a drooping eyelid. This condition is temporary and will resolve on its own in a few weeks.

Jeuveau

Jeuveau® (prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) injection is an FDA-approved prescription medicine (AKA neuromodular, AKA neurotoxin, AKA tox) used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. It’s also sometimes called the new Botox or “Newtox” for short because it’s a new version of the same active ingredient used in original Botox Cosmetic injections.

While Jeuveau shares some similarities with Botox, there are key characteristics that make this injection stand apart from other botulinum toxin injections.

Juvederm

Juvederm® is a gel that is injected into the skin in order to add volume and lift up wrinkles and folds. Juvederm® consists of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance already present in your body. Once in the skin, Juvederm® works by creating volume. Some dermal fillers are derived from animal substances. The hyaluronic acid in Juvederm® is non-animal.

How does it work?

During treatment, the crystal-clear Juvederm® gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The gel produces volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. When enhancing lips or facial contours, Juvederm® adds volume and shape to the treated area.

What to expect after treatment?

Immediately after the treatment, you can expect slight redness, swelling, tenderness or an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injection. The discomfort is temporary and generally disappears in a few days. After a lip treatment, the lips may become swollen and look somewhat uneven. This can persist for a few days (up to a week). If the discomfort continues, please contact your nurse or physician.

What should I bear in mind after my treatment with Juvederm®?

During the first 48 hours after your treatment, do not massage or rub the treated area. If you have had a lip enhancement, avoid puckering your lips for the first two days after the treatment. Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. in a solarium or by sunbathing) or extreme cold.

Can Juvederm® be removed?

Juvederm® does dissolve naturally with time. However, an enzyme called Hyaluronidase can be injected into the area where Juvederm was injected to dissolve the filler more quickly. The process of completely dissolving filler can take several weeks and more than one treatment. If you feel uncertain about the desired result, you can choose to have the treatment done in steps on different occasions.
